This Billionaire Spent $627M to Turn a Boeing 747 Into a Flying Mansion

An unnamed billionaire spent $627 million to convert a 600-passenger Boeing 747 into a luxurious plane that will hold only "dozens of guests," according to the Daily Mail. Good luck getting an aisle seat now.

The plane includes a large dining room with adjoining kitchen, several bedrooms and a VIP area to keep out the lowly millionaires who somehow managed to board the aircraft.

Joining the mile-high club just got even more unappealing.

He doesn't even take the plane in the air. He just has his pilot drive it on the freeway while he laughs maniacally.

The plane is so nice, turbulence goes out of its way to avoid it.

Of course, not all billionaires can afford to convert a jumbo jet into a sky palace. For the slightly less stupidly rich, why not give your home two pools on two different levels of your estate? Because you're rich, and you shouldn't have to walk up or down flights of stairs.

Perhaps you're more of a boating billionaire. Why not get a yacht? They're the jumbo jets of the sea.

It's not a true theater experience unless the floor is sticky and someone sitting in front of you is texting.

A spruced-up RV: For when you want to get away, but not too away.

You can finally reenact the milkshake scene from There Will Be Blood.
