Bachelor of Science in computer engineering is a course that encompasses various aspects.

In this course, you will learn both the hardware aspects and the software aspects of computing. Hardware in computing includes such things as networking, how a computer works, parts of computers such as CPU, mouse, keyboard, microprocessors etc. This is an area closely related to electrical and electronics engineering.

On the other hand, software engineering is an area that encompasses programming. In this course, you will basically learn how to write code for various simple and complex applications. In fact, a software program is just a code that replaces thousands of electronic codes. Programming languages that one will learn includes java, C++, C, XHTML and other basic and dynamic languages.

Graduates of a program in Bachelor of Science computer engineering can work in mobile /telecommunication companies, Internet service providers, media companies as well as any large organization that makes use of networks and systems to achieve its goals.
