Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Physics) and Potential Areas of Employment

This course is a combination of the two disciplines. In addition to developing core and fundamental mathematical skills, it teaches the basic laws of physics hence students get prepared to work in a variety of fields.

The combined mathematical and physics content will train students to have critical analysis and thought, to develop logical problem solving abilities, and will give them the ability to apply this knowledge. A blend of mathematics and physics is therefore attractive to a wide range of cutting edge employers. Employers cherish these assets highly and often hire mathematicians and physicists even where their specific training might not be directly relevant to the job on offer.
