Medical lab technologists work with a doctor, clinical officer or other medical practitioner to help diagnose diseases correctly. It is an important contributor to the medical team involved in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases as physicians rely heavily upon laboratory test results before making decisions. One will be testing samples to look for traces of diseases and other ailments.
