"The modern heroes of today are not the ones who know how to
make money but those who have greatly contributed to the betterment of our lives." Working as an electrical engineer is one great example of being a modern engineer. Their job is not merely stuck in four corner walls doing nothing but they are responsible for the distribution of power. So, you want to be an electrical engineer? Many people especially those who are still in their senior year in high school are having second thoughts about getting into the field of engineering. It might be because of the misconception that only the geniuses are allowed into such field. It is absolutely true that a person has to be well versed in mathematics and science if considering to enter into the engineering area but it doesn't mean that those who have failed in these two subjects while in high school do not stand the chance.
For those who have failed in their math and science subjects because of neglect or irresponsibility perhaps now is the best time that you do your best in order learn more about the subjects and to get a passing grade. Keep in mind that some schools have a GPA requirement that is why it is a must that you concentrate more on your academics than on other things while still in high school. Once you become a certified electrical engineer all the effort, time and money you invested is worth it. Many people who have now become professional electrical engineers can attest that the choice they made a few years ago when their parents asked them "what course are you going to take up?" and they replied "I want to be an electrical engineer"-it was the best choice they made in their whole career life.
There is nothing but advantages in being an electrical engineer. The pay is great; the advantage of being able to work with other people with great minds is also possible. For those people who do not want to be idle for a moment or be stuck behind the desk in their lifetime you should consider the engineering field. There are endless adventures
waiting for every engineer. There will never be a dull moment in this field. Aside from having the opportunity to be able to travel abroad, the chance to permanently relocate to another country is also a big possibility for people who want a change of course in their lives. There are actually numerous big companies overseas that are willing to outsource engineers with excellent minds. Of course, you will have to study hard so that you will have good grades aside from that you also have to have good time management so that you will be
able to have enough time to do your research as well as for your personal life. You can party with your friends even if you are still studying to be a future electrical engineer, the key to this would be "balance".
